The Inter Boards Coordination Commission accepts the GED for equivalence, recognising it as equivalent to HSSC (Intermediate) in the Humanities Group — but only when it was completed through an IBCC-recognised pathway and its conditions are met. This acceptance is the foundation everything else rests on.

Accepted by universities (admission)
Pakistani universities generally assess your IBCC equivalence rather than the GED certificate directly. So "accepted for admission" means: with your HSSC (Humanities) equivalence in hand, many universities will consider you for Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Media, Design and Law programmes — each on its own entry requirements.
