The Pearson BTEC Level 3 is designed for post-16 students, and Kindl TEC keeps the entry route simple and honest. Here's who it's for and what to confirm before you apply.
The essentials
- Level: a post-16, UK Level 3 qualification — the same level as A-Levels.
- Typical age: 16 or older to start the Level 3 itself.
- Prior schooling: Matric, O-Levels or equivalent, in practice.
- Assessment: coursework and practical assignments across units — not an entrance exam.
Younger than 16? There's a foundation phase.
Kindl TEC runs a foundation phase for students around ages 15–16 that builds the skills and character base before the Pearson BTEC Level 3 qualification begins in the next phase.
